The smartphone war is getting hotter and hotter with more competitors and a countless number of new models. But, what we really need in a smartphone? Does it need to be like a computer and do all the tasks? Should it hold all our data like our notebooks and table computers? Does it need to fit in our pockets? Should we be able to use with one hand?
Well, I am getting bored with all the advances and the marketing for new smartphones. I need a smartphone that fits in my pocket, that I can use one hand to answer calls, and that is able to do a lot of tasks. But, if I need to take great pictures, I will use a DSLR camera, if I want to play a great game I will use a Playstation/XBox with a real controller and a big screen, if I want to work for hours I will use a notebook with a real keyboard, if I want to read an e-book I will use a Kindle, etc. The smartphone will be there for those moments when I am on the move and need to do these tasks, but for a while, not for hours. I don't want to spend hours in front of a little screen. Sorry, I am not going to change my iPhone 3GS for a new smartphone, unless it stops working. And, I am tired of what they are predicting for the next iPhone or Samsung Galaxy S.
